Thompson Landing on Royal: Progress, Promise, and Community

The rapid progress of the Thompson Landing on Royal (TLoR) development this past year has been incredible. As the New Year approaches, the team at TLoR reflects on the significant changes that have occurred. In February 2023, crews had just started framing the first few floors of 215 Royal Two. Meanwhile, 207 Royal One was a mere sketch in concrete with only two supporting columns for its second floor installed. Today, the two buildings rise prominently into view, and beneath the scaffolding, the site is a flurry of activity, with work continuing at this same fast pace inside and out.

Brendan Shaw from BSRE noted that the warmer weather has been a welcomed surprise to construction crews. Thrilled with the progress and quality of the work, he reports that purchasers will begin to move in by late spring/early summer. Occupation is expected to be staggered, starting with 215 Royal Avenue, and residents will be welcomed one floor at a time.

When quizzed on what is exciting about this project, Parmjit Mahal, builder, real estate developer, and partner at ARPA, boasts that his favourite feature will be the courtyard.

"At the end of the day, when you return home after work, you have a place to sit outside where you may watch the river flow past. This area will serve as a peaceful retreat for the residents of both buildings, providing an opportunity for them to socialize."

By incorporating spaces that encourage connection and calm into the development's design, we present an antidote to life's hectic rhythm.

Parking stalls are currently being allocated, and for a limited time, residents can upgrade to an additional parking stall for $25k. Please reach out to Brendan at 778-471-1498.

The Thompson Landing on Royal team wishes you good company and cheer during the holiday season and looks forward to welcoming you home next year.
